Ambius London branch case study

The Brief
Ambius's Central London branch moved to new premises and we wanted to use artwork from our Canvas Botanica range to demonstrate to colleagues and customers the stimulating way that art can be used in the workspace. As well as a galleried entrance hall with large expanses of white wall, the main open plan offices and meeting rooms were a blank canvas, well lit by large windows to both side of the building.
The Solution
A total of 42 canvases were installed using styles from different image ranges to define particular areas of the building. Images from the Timeless and Fresh ranges were used to dramatic effect in the entrance hall. Canvases featuring imagery of food from the new Organic range work perfectly in the kitchen area.
The Decadent and Fresh ranges were used to create a vibrant backdrop for the open plan office. Art canvases from the Acoustic range of prints was used in two of the three meeting rooms. These meeting rooms have thin panel walls and the acoustic artwork perfectly demonstrates how they absorb and therefore reduce the amount of noise, ensuring privacy.
The Results
The results were dramatic, taking a bland open office space and really giving it the wow factor. The bright and cheerful images create a warm and friendly backdrop for colleagues to work in, as well as creating a stunning 'in situ' gallery to show to our clients when they visit. We are yet to have a visitor who has not commented on how much they like the artwork.
