{"id":1327,"date":"2021-11-15T22:08:34","date_gmt":"2021-11-15T22:08:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ambius.co.uk\/blog\/?p=1327"},"modified":"2025-07-04T12:09:00","modified_gmt":"2025-07-04T11:09:00","slug":"2021-gold-leaf-award-winner-peter-vardy-case-study","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ambius.co.uk\/blog\/2021-gold-leaf-award-winner-peter-vardy-case-study\/","title":{"rendered":"2021 Gold Leaf Award Winner &#8211; Peter Vardy Case Study"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Designing an award winning lobby and entrance wasn\u2019t on the cards when Ambius first assessed the area at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.petervardy.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Peter Vardy Car Dealership<\/a>.&nbsp; But with wide spaces, great light levels, a large canopy and regular foot traffic, the design provided the essence for the wow factor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From the gorgeous displays in the large portland stone finish \u2018blobs\u2019, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ambius.co.uk\/interior\/green-walls\/live-dividers\/\">live dividers<\/a> and troughs with trailing plants used to cover the white walls the design had impact.  The jungle theme was topped off with 2x 3.5m Podacarpus in a large white pot, and a Song of Jamaica.  But most striking was the 11\u00bd&nbsp; metre high <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ambius.co.uk\/interior\/moss-walls\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Moss Wall<\/a> which expanded the entire height of the wall canopy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Complimenting the sense of space, whilst enhancing the \u201cjungle\u201d theme, polished white planters ensured the decor and theme moved through the floor levels.&nbsp; Designed by Pauline Freel, installed by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ambius.co.uk\/\">Ambius Team<\/a>, this project was created to enhance the opening of the new state of the art head office at Pioneer House in Motherwell for Peter Vardy.&nbsp; As a company with an aim to be The Best Place to Work and The Best Place to Buy, the health and wellbeing of staff was a big priority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Creating workplaces that flow<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Whether you have a new build, or breathing life into an old build, the Ambius team can help to provide that \u2018wow factor\u2019.
