Ambius Artwork

Ambius office artwork        Ambius art in kitchen        6 Ambius art canvases

Ambius' Central London branch moved to new premises and we wanted to use artwork from our Canvas Botanica range to demonstrate to colleagues and customers the stimulating way that art can be used in the workspace. As well as a galleried entrance hall with large expanses of white wall, the main open plan offices and meeting rooms were a blank canvas, well lit by large windows to both side of the building…

Ambius Microfresh

Microfresh - Brand scenting

A major fine fragrance retailer was seeking ways to increase revenue and offer their fragrance brand an improved effectiveness for in-store launches of new scents and in-store product promotions. Traditional in-store promotion was a table-top display of the product and some promotional visuals. The display space was 'rented' to the brand who would also hire fragrance models - women of the same demographic as the perfume's targeted customer - to stand next to the display and offer passersby an opportunity to smell or sample the scent…

Abbott Laboratories

Abbott Laboratories          Abbott Laboratories 2           Abbott Laboratories 3

The decision to have plants was made primarily for environmental reasons. The customer wanted an attractive setting for staff to work and relax in. As well as plants and art in the offices, there is a large atrium restaurant and plenty of green recycling facilities throughout the building. There are over 300 staff in the brand-new 3-storey building. The building is mainly open-plan, but there are breakout areas, a few enclosed offices and several large meeting rooms…

Glamal Engineering

Glamal Engineering 1        Glamal Engineering 3         Glamal Engineering 2

When a leader in the worldwide consumer healthcare market needed an inspiring plant display to welcome visitors and employers to a new site, Ambius rose to the challenge. The tight deadline didn't faze us. The horrible, wet weather couldn't stop us. We designed and planted a beautiful shrub bed, complete with climbing plants to hide ugly metal fencing, and created a welcoming entrance area worthy of a grand opening…

Creation of a new site entrance

Kent exterior 1          Kent exterior 2          Kent exterior 3

Our client, a major pharmaceuticals company, needed their site entrance at one of their factories to be made more welcoming, especially as the site had been redevloped and was due for an 'official' opening. Ugly industrial equipment needed to be screened and the entrance had to better reflect the image of a major blue-chip organization, rather than a down-at-heel construction site…

ING car lease UK Ltd.

ING car lease UK Ltd 1          ING car lease UK Ltd 2           ING car lease UK Ltd 3

ING Car Lease in the UK runs a fleet of 46,000 vehicles, the vast majority of which are supplied to major blue chip companies. Their offices are based in the heart of the Thames Valley in Bracknell, Berkshire. Now the offices have recently been refurbished in ING's corporate colours, leaving little room for the original, much loved plant displays. A brand new breakout area for the staff to spend valuable team building time has also been created…

Marriott Hotel, Sheffield

Marriott Hotel, Sheffield 1          Marriott Hotel, Sheffield 2           Marriott Hotel, Sheffield 3

The Marriott Hotel in Sheffield is set in 5 hectares (12 acres) of grounds. As well as lawns, there are some flower beds and shrubberies that had become overgrown. Ambius was asked to revitalize the grounds, especially around the hotel entrance, quickly and with as little additional cost as possible…
