Keppie Design interior landscaping case study
The Brief
Keppie Design is an international company offering services in architecture, town planning, interior design, landscape architecture and urban design. The building Keppie Design reside in was initally an old church which over the years has expanded with modern offices being added. The requirement was simple, to provide planting that complemented both the old and new.
The Solution
Ambius were asked to create screening between the open plan offices and the breakout area as well as a secluded meeting area which was still part of the open plan design. To create the screening effect two barrier troughs were put into position planted with replica bamboo which worked brilliantly and created the effect Keppie were looking for without compromising the design of the area. Throughout the open plan area a total of 9 Kubik containers were also arranged in the offices, planted with Sanseverias. And finally, 5 single silk Cala lilly bowls have been put on display in the reception area and meeting rooms to add a little colour.

The Results
Both Keppie and Ambius have been very happy with the displays. The designs add value to the look and feel of the church and as well as meeting the brief to create screening, the plants used also add warmth and a certain ambiance within the area, whilst retaining a feeling of space and tranquility.
