The Science of the Young Ones
Ambius has played a leading role in the BBC TV Programme on health and ageing - 'The Science of the Young Ones'.
A follow-up to the three part TV experiment featuring personalities including Liz Smith and Lionel Blair, 'The Science of the Young Ones' was made with the support of Ambius and Exeter University, using a major study into the effects of involving groups of residents in the redecoration of residential lounges.
The programme demonstrated how people in care homes feel happier, healthier and even show improved memory and concentration when they are given choice and responsibility with regard to their environment. Residents of a care home were seen changing their surroundings using plants and planters supplied by Ambius.
